Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026

1. Introduction

CarePost ("we", "our", "us") operates the carepostcareers.life website and related services (the "Service"), a healthcare job board connecting employers with qualified clinicians. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, password hash, and role (job seeker or employer) when you create an account.

Employer & job posting data: company name, contact email, job descriptions, location, salary, specialty, and other details you submit when posting a position.

Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive transaction metadata (amount, status, customer ID) but never your full card details.

Usage data: pages viewed, apply-click events, IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URLs.

Cookies: required for authentication and basic functionality; optional cookies for analytics.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Process payments, subscriptions, and refunds.
  • Publish employer job listings on the public listings page.
  • Send transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, account notifications).
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud or technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • Employers — when a job seeker clicks "Apply" on a listing, they are redirected to the employer's site or contact email.
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and posting data for as long as your account is active. Job listings remain visible for their paid duration (typically 30 days) and are then archived. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted data at rest, row-level security on our database, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service.
